Noosa Long Weekend

This year the Noosa Long Weekend will start with a bang! A Carnivale-inspired street parade starts on Friday 15th at 5:15. For one hour Hastings Street will be filled with feather-clad dancers. At 6 pm Super Heroes will be dropping from the sky to land on the main beach. The free festivities will include, street performers, musicians, jugglers, dancers and circus performers. Don’t forget to bring the kids!! The long weekend goes till July 24th.

Good News for First Home Buyers

Increase to first home owners grant in Queensland.

From 1 July 2016, eligible first home owners can now receive $20,000 towards buying or building their new home, unit or townhouse (valued at $750,000 or less). To receive the full $20,000, the contract must be dated on or after July 2016 otherwise any contracts dated prior to July 1 2016 are eligible for $15,000.
